Rotating Detonation Engine (RDE)

A novel device that uses a continuous detonation wave to provide thrust. This simple device is claimed to have a higher efficiency and specific impulse than conventional jet engines and rocket engines.

Our current research pertains using the RDE for power generation, cooling of the engine, and component development to improve thrust.
