New Student Registration – Session 2023/2024

Assalamualaikum and greetings to all HIREF lecturers,

As the new academic year begins, please remind your incoming students to complete the HiREF Registration Form. It is necessary to fill out this form in order to add students to the HiREF mailing list and grant Fingertec ID access to the postgraduate room.

We have set up a user-friendly registration form using Google Forms. Please share the following link with your students and complete the form as soon as possible:

The deadline for students to complete the registration is October 15, 2023. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated and will contribute to the smooth functioning of HiREF.

“LAST ONE OUT PLEASE SWITCH OFF THE LIGHTS & AC “

Every day at 5:30 PM, the lights and AC in the PG room are turned off by the lab coordinator.

If you arrive after that time, please ensure that the lights and AC are switched off when you’re done.

HIREF/SERF 2023 Events

The attached list above is the schedule for the upcoming SERF Meeting, Writing Workshop, and Bank of Proposal Workshop for 2023. All undergraduates and postgraduates are welcome to participate. Please discuss with your supervisors for details.

Project Management Workshop

A project management workshop was held in HiREF PG Room on Thursday, 22nd December 2022, from 11 am to 1 pm.
Facilitator: Nurul Hazirah Binti Mokhsin (A19EM0400)

HiREF Print Management System

HiREF has installed a print management system at postgraduate room. This new system allows easy access to the printer right from your personal computer. Additionally, it allows the organization to manage the printing usage according to internal users and guests.
The printer is located at Desk No. 2. Please contact the Admin to go through the one-time setup for your laptop for printing purposes. The setup session may be done upon request every Sunday from today onwards.

Final Meeting for Internship Trainees 2022

The final meeting is rescheduled to Tuesday, 11/10. In preparation for the final meeting could all trainees do as follows:

Prepare a 15-min presentation to include the following details:
All project/subprojects that has been completed
Comparison of the targeted deliverables and the completed deliverable
Share your slides with SV 2 days before the meeting
Share the deliverables gradually in the Deliverable Folder

HIREF Coordinators Appointment

HiREF laboratory is glad to appoint the following coordinators to ensure smooth operation of the laboratory and research group from 1 June 2022 to 31 May 2023. Everyone is requested to cooperate with respective coordinators who are responsible to ensure that all regulations related to respective facilities are observed.
