On January 9, 2024, Dr. Fairus and his team had a collaboration visit to a UTM spin-off company, Patsber Sdn Bhd, which is involved in the commercialization of nano-tech products, including carbon-based nanomaterials. The team was welcomed by the CEO of the company, Ts. ChM. Dr. Faizuan Abdullah, production staff, and fellow postgraduate students involved in the project.
