The Department of Materials, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineering, representing the esteemed Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, UTM, received a prestigious invitation to organize the International Symposium on Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering (SMILE 2023) in collaboration with Telkom University (Tel-U) and Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). The event, held on August 21st and 22nd, 2023, marked an exceptional convergence of intellectual minds. Distinguished experts and accomplished researchers from Tel-U, ITB, and UTM came together with a shared passion for exploring and disseminating the latest frontiers in industrial and manufacturing engineering.
Under the capable leadership of Mdm Devi Pratami (Tel-U), Dr. Fathiro Hutama Reksa Putra (ITB), and Ts. Dr. Mohd Azlan Suhaimi (UTM), this symposium stood as a testament to collaborative academic excellence, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas and breakthroughs in the dynamic realm of industrial and manufacturing engineering. Among the representatives from FKM, UTM who attended were Prof. Dr. Safian Sharif, Prof. Dr. Izman Sudin, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Azanizawati Ma’aram, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norizah Hj Redzuan, Ir. Ts.
