The main UTM Aeronautics laboratory facility is the low speed wind tunnel (UTM-LST) with a maximum wind speed of 290 km/h and excellent flow qualities. It is commissioned in 2001 and has served for more than 15 years. Our clients include researchers from universities and designers from industries such as Proton, Perodua, Modenas, MISC, CTRM and others. UTM wind tunnel has capability to provide wide range of testing include aircraft, ground surface vehicle and industrial aerodynamics such as building, bridges, sports complex and wind turbine.
